Meet Nick Mears
Managing Member, Caprock Business Consulting - MBA, CVA, MAFF
Nick Mears founded Caprock with a simple goal: to bring clarity and credibility to moments that matter. With over a decade of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, and transactional advisory, Nick works closely with attorneys and business owners facing complex financial questions and high-stakes decisions.
He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), and is a nationally recognized instructor and speaker in the field. Nick has served in multiple leadership roles with the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA), including the Standards Board, Ethics Oversight Board and the AI & Machine Learning Commission.
Known for his calm, credible presence and deep technical expertise, Nick is a trusted resource for attorneys, business owners, and fellow professionals seeking clear answers in high-stakes matters
